William "Bill" L. Huebler, age 58, of Linn passed away Friday, October 24, 2008 at his residence after a short illness.
He was born April 17, 1950 in Jefferson City to the late John and Marie (Buscher) Huebler.
Bill attended school in Linn graduating in 1968. He was an Army veteran having served in the Vietnam War.
On August 10, 1974 he was united in marriage to Donna Backes in Loose Creek. She survives of the home.
Bill worked in the road construction industry. He enjoyed working outdoors.
Additional survivors include: one son, Scott and his wife, Kim Huebler of Bland and one daughter, Stacia and her husband Doug Peters of Linn; four grandchildren, Anthony Senevey, Kole, Alek and Kendyl Peters, one sister Lydia and her husband Ben Samson of Linn, and his mother-in-law, Clara Backes of Loose Creek.
He was preceded in death by one brother John Huebler, Jr. and a granddaughter, Gracie Huebler.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday, October 26, 2008 at Morton Chapel in Linn.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Monday, October 27, 2008 at Morton Chapel with Chaplin Bart Larson officiating. Interment with full military honors will follow at the Mint Hill Shirley Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Missouri River Hospice, 1440 Aaron Court, Jefferson City, MO 65101 or to the March of Dimes.
