William (Bill) "Sonny Buscher

William (Bill) “Sonny” Buscher, age 67 of Loose Creek, passed away Thursday, May 11, 2023, at his home.

Sonny was born August 2, 1955, in Loose Creek, a son to the late Clarence and Violet (Linhardt) Buscher.

Sonny attended Osage County R-2 schools in Linn.

He spent his whole life caring for his parents and the family farm. His greatest enjoyment came from looking after his cattle and mules. He was a very caring and giving person.

Sonny was a member of the Pilgrim Lutheran Church in Freedom.

Survivors include his sisters, Dorothy Wolfe, Betty Troesser, Norma Klebba, Lou Jean Boss and Elizabeth (Roger) O’Dowd all of Linn as well as 18 nieces and nephews and many other family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Sonny was preceded in death by his brother -in-laws, Bill Wolfe, Bill Troesser, Bert Klebba and Alfred Boss

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11: 00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at Morton Chapel in Linn. A Graveside service will be at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday May 16, 2023, at Pilgrim Lutheran Church in Freedom with Rev. Paul Landgraf officiating.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
