Willard Brandt

Willard ""Bill"" Brandt, 81 of Linn passed away Monday, July 28, 2008 at his residence in Linn.

He was born July 21, 1927 in Linn to the late Peter William and Christina (Leven) Brandt.

He was a World War II Army veteran. He had worked for Anheuser-Busch in St Louis as well as being a retired carpenter and corrections officer. He was a member of the St. George Church in Linn.

He is survived by several loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond and Arthur Brandt and five sisters, Edna Vaughan, Ida Boes, Eleanor Ferguson, Margie Frasher and Verna Buckhardt Murphy.

Visitation will be 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at Morton Chapel in Linn.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 31, 2008 at St. George Church in Linn with Father I.C. Medina as the Celebrant. Interment will follow in the St. George Church Cemetery.
