Wilfred Henry Linnenbrink, age 66 of Jefferson City passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at his residence.
Wilfred was born December 4, 1957, in Bonnots Mill, a son to the late Herbert and Helen (Kirsch) Linnenbrink.
Wilfred was a 1976 graduate of Fatima High School. After graduation he moved to Jefferson City.
Wilfred worked as a coil winder for ABB which is now Hitachi in Jefferson City before retiring in January of 2023.
Wilfred was of the Catholic faith and a member of UAW Local # 2379, the Sportsman Club and was an avid supporter of the NRA.
Wilfred enjoyed fishing, watching the Kansas City Chiefs and St Louis Cardinals, tinkering with things in his garage, eating fried chicken and drinking Pepsi and collecting sports cards and coins. His greatest love was time spent with his family.
Wilfred is survived by, two sons, Kyle (Brittany Voss) Linnenbrink and Kole Linnenbrink both of Jefferson City, one daughter, Kayla (Curtis Goben) Linnenbrink of Jefferson City, three sisters, Martha Haslag and her husband Dennis of Linn, Margaret Walker of Chamois and Susan Kremer and her husband Sam of Bonnots Mill, two grandchildren, Chase and Reagan Linnenbrink as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to his parents, Wilfred was preceded in death by one brother William “Billy” Linnenbrink and a brother-in-law James “Jim” Walker.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at Morton Chapel in Linn. Funeral Service will follow at Noon with Fr. Tony Rinaldo officiating. Interment will be in the St Louis of France Parish Cemetery.
