Wilfred J. Dudenhoeffer, 77 of Linn, MO died Tuesday, April 29, 2008, at St. Mary's Health Center in Jefferson City, Mo.

He was born December 19, 1930 in Frankenstein to the late Alex and Laura (Troesser) Dudenhoeffer.

Wilfred attended Our Lady of Help School in Frankenstein.

On November 20, 1954, he married Marcella Linnenbrink in Linn. She survives of the home.

Wilfred was a veteran of the United States Army and served during the Korean Conflict.

He was a carpenter for many years and retired from Haviland. Wilfred enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, spending time with his family and was a big St. Louis Cardinal fan. He was a member of St. George Church.

Wilfred is survived by one son; Russell and wife, Theresa Dudenhoeffer of Linn; five daughters; Debbie and husband, Roy Peters of Linn, Sue Gove of Linn, Mary Lee and husband, John Stegeman of Loose Creek, Kay and husband, Charlie Robinson of Linn, Amy and husband Bob Poe of Lakeville, MN; twelve grandchildren; Tom Peters, Matt(Monica) Peters, Brett Dudenhoeffer, Cody Dudenhoeffer, Jason Gove, Brianna Gove, Jody(Noland) Stuecken, Christopher Stegeman, Rachel Robinson, Dylan Robinson, Colin Poe and Madison Poe; three great-grandchildren; Ava and Max Stuecken and Kylie Peters.

He was preceded in death by one sister; Clara Kirsch and two brothers; Ed and Leonard Dudenhoeffer.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 2, 2008 at Morton Chapel in Linn, MO.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9:00 a.m., Saturday, May 3, 2008 at St. George Church with Rev. I.C. Medina as Celebrant. Interment will follow in the St. George Cemetery.
