Wanda A. Meyer, age 65 of Linn, Mo. passed away on Thursday, December 25, 2008 at St. Mary's Health Center in Jefferson City.
She was born on December 23, 1943 in Holts Summit to the late Adolph and Evelyn (Nichols) Tieman.
Wanda attended school in Chamois. On January 27, 1962 she was united in marriage to Edward W. Meyer in Chamois. He survives of the home.
After raising her children she went to work at the Langenberg Hat Factory in Chamois. She then went to work at Scholastic in Jefferson City and worked there several years. She then went to work at Capital Region Medical Center where she worked until becoming disabled.
Wanda enjoyed reading especially the Bible and loved spending time with her family. She attended the Abundant Faith Church in Linn.
Additional survivors include: two sons, Mark and his wife Audrey Meyer of Bonnots Mill and Danny and his wife Shirley Meyer of Hartsburg; two daughters, Karen and her husband David Carwile of Linn and Tammy and her husband Dwight Troesser of Linn; one brother John Tieman of Jefferson City; two sisters, Mary Meyer of Jefferson City and Shirley Hall of Linn; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, December 27, 2008 at Morton Chapel in Linn.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 28, 2008 at Morton Chapel with Rev. Mike Joslin and Rev. Glenn Holem officiating.
