Virgil Henry Rudroff
Virgil H. Rudroff, age 79 of Rich Fountain, passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2017, at his residence.
Virgil was born November 30, 1937, in Rich Fountain, a son to the late John and Pauline (Dill) Rudroff.
Virgil attended school at Sacred Heart Catholic School.
On September 19, 1991, he was united in marriage Opal Stewart Nichols in Chamois. She survives of the home.
Virgil worked at Quaker Windows until his retirement in 1991.
Virgil was a member of Linn Family Worship Center. He enjoyed taking care of his cars, yard and house.
He loved going to yard sales, talking with friends and family about current news, gas prices, jobs and cars.
In addition to his spouse of 25 years, Virgil is survived by: one son, Lindell Nichols and his wife Ellen of Chamois; two daughters, Carrie Nichols of Linn and Denise Nolte and her husband Mike of Chamois; two brothers, Jerry Rudroff and his wife Erma of Batchtown, IL and Allen Rudroff and his wife Irmalene of California, MO; 20 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son, Tony Nichols.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 29, 2017, at Morton Chapel in Linn.
Funeral Services will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Matt Lee officiating. Interment will be in the Chamois City Cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to Linn Family Worship Center.
