Troy G. Beers

Troy G. Beers, age 64 of Linn, Mo passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at his home in Linn.

He was born June 18, 1944 in St Louis to the late Troy O. and Edna A. (Airsman) Beers.

Troy graduated in 1963 from Cupertino High School in Cupertino, CA. He then attended Linn Technical College for two years. He was a Vietnam Air Force Veteran serving with the Red Horse Division from 1965-1968.

On April 12, 1969 he was united in marriage to Judi Kramer in Sullivan, Mo. She survives of the home. Troy was employed by the Department of Corrections retiring in 2000 as a Sergeant.

In addition to his wife Troy is survived by three sons, Travis Beers of Linn, Trent and his wife Andrea Beers of Holts Summit and Todd Beers of Linn. One sister Lenora Scott of Jefferson City and a brother, James "Jim" and his wife Lillie Beers of Linn. He was preceded in death by a son Troy Dwayne Beers and a grandson Ryan Beers.

Visitation will be 4pm-8pm Friday, November 21, 2008 at the Morton Chapel in Linn.

Funeral Services will be 10am Saturday, November 22, 2008 at the Morton Chapel in Linn with Rev. Glenn Richard Sparks officiating. Interment will be in the Boss Cemetery in Boss, Mo.
