Travis Beers

Travis Beers, age 47 of Linn, passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at Ozark Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Osage Beach.

Travis was born on July 16, 1975, in Jefferson City, a son to the late Troy Beers and Judi Kramer Beers.  She survives in Linn.

Travis was a 1994 graduate of Linn High School. 

He was employed as a Corrections Officer at Jefferson City Correctional Center and later worked at Elsevier in Linn until his health deteriorated. 

Travis enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, gardening, cooking, and photography. 

In addition to his mother, Travis is survived by two brothers, Trent Beers and his wife Andrea of New Bloomfield and Todd Beers of Linn; an uncle, Ben Kramer of Linn; along with nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one brother, Dwayne Beers and one nephew, Ryan Beers. 

Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 1, 2023, at Morton Chapel in Linn.  Celebration of Life will follow at 4:00 with Rev. Glenn Sparks officiating.  Inurnment will be held at a later date at Boss Cemetery in Boss.
