Tommy J. Fritchley

Tommy J. Fritchley, age 85, of Linn, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Tommy was born on June 13, 1938, in Parkersburg, IL., a son to the late Cyril and Margaret (Miller) Fritchley.

On June 11, 1993, he was united in marriage to Gladys Moeller in Linn.  Gladys preceded him in death on November 20, 2020.

Tommy was an over the road truck driver.  Later in life, Tommy loved to work on appliances.

Tommy was a member of Linn Community Christian Church.

Tommy enjoyed fishing, riding four wheelers, going for drives and eating out.  His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family and friends.

Tommy is survived by his children, Debra (Jerry) Thomas of Kathleen, FL., Dorothy (Chester) Cole of Lakeland, FL., Dawn (Kenny) Stephens of Kathleen, FL., Susan Fritchley, Becky Fritchley; stepchildren, Joan (Dave) Dudenhoeffer of Linn, Gilbert (Helen) Hoelscher of Linn, and Dennis (Sarah) Hoelscher of Linn; 15 great grandchildren, numerous great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Kathryn Korner of Belmont, CA., and Linda Thornton of Santa Rosa, CA.; his faithful companion, Coco; along with several nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to his parents, and wife of 27 years, Tommy was preceded in death by his children, Randall Fritchley, Loretta Fritchley, Tommy J. Fritchley, Jr.; stepchildren, Loyd Hoelscher and Jerome Hoelscher; a granddaughter, Jody Hoelscher; and three sisters, Betty Easterling, Joyce Brown, and Shirley Jensen.  

Private Family Service will be held at Morton Chapel in Linn.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Central Missouri Hospice.
