Steve Livingston

Steve Livingston, age 67, of Linn, passed away on Friday, October 25, 2024, at Capitol Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.

Steve was born on April 24, 1957, in Rockford Illinois, a son to the late Ralph “Duke” T. and Mary Carolyn (Smith) Livingston. 

Steve was a 1975 graduate of Linn High School, and he later earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology from Lincoln University in Jefferson City.

Steve enjoyed woodworking, being a “History Buff” and watching old westerns and sports. 

Steve is survived by his sister, Mary Carson and her husband Charlie of Wichita, KS.; four nieces, Elizabeth Dark of Fort Worth, TX., Jenn Jessop of Lehi, UT., Melissa Kiphart of Park City, KS., and Sarah Kiphart of Maize, Ks.; six great nieces and nephews; along with many friends. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Karen Geertsen.

In keeping with his wishes, Steve was cremated, and no services will be held.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Duke Livingston Memorial Scholarship at State Technical College in Linn.
