Stella Dresel

Stella Dresel, age 86 of Freeburg, passed away Monday, December 16, 2019, at Westphalia Hills.

Stella was born January 30, 1933, in Freeburg, a daughter to the late Louis and Ida (Schneider) Dresel.

Stella attended school in Osage County.

She was united in marriage to Dr. Nelson W. Brewer.  He preceded her in death on December 31, 1998.

She was employed at various jobs around Freeburg. 

Stella was a devout member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Freeburg.

Stella in survived by: a sister-in-law, Dorothy Dresel of Vienna along with several nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to her parents and spouse, she was preceded in death by: one sister, Mildred Miller and one brother, William “Bill” Dresel.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 19, 2019, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Freeburg.  Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. William Debo as the celebrant.  Inurnment will be in the Holy Family Parish Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Holy Family Catholic School.
