Sidonia Henrietta Weiher

Sidonia Henrietta Weiher, age 92, of Morrison passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2010, at St. Mary's Health Center in Jefferson City.

Sidonia was born May 1, 1918, in Morrison, a daughter to the late Arnold and Lena Wilhelmina (Schollmeyer) Hummert.

On September 3, 1938, she was united in marriage to Dewey Weiher in Maplewood, MO. He preceded her in death on January 3, 1992.

Sidonia was a homemaker and worked for 26 years for Sears Roebuck and Company. She was a member of St. James United Church of Christ, Women's Fellowship, and St. James Quilters in Morrison.

Sidonia is survived by one nephew, Gale Sundermeyer of Kansas City and one sister-in-law, Jewell Weiher of Chamois.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Laura Sundermeyer.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, on Friday, September 24, 2010, at Morton Chapel in Chamois.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, September 24, 2010, at Morton Chapel in Chamois. Interment will follow at the Good Hope Cemetery in Morrison.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Good Hope Cemetery in Morrison or to St. James United Church of Christ.
