Shirley Ann Mosley

Shirley Ann Mosley, age 65, of Linn, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. 

Shirley was born on June 23, 1959, in Jefferson City, a daughter to the late Floyd and Anna (Rademann) Wilson.

Shirley was a 1977 graduate of Linn High School.

On May 5, 1979, she was united in marriage to Jarrel “Stretch” Mosley at St. George Catholic Church in Linn. Stretch survives at their residence. 

Shirley worked at various doctor offices including Urology Care and Genesis Laser and Vein in Jefferson City until she retired in December of 2022.

Shirley was a member of St. George Catholic Church in Linn and the St. Ann’s Sodality. 

Shirley enjoyed gambling, traveling, crafting, quilting, gardening, helping others and playing with her dog, Wilson. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family, friends and especially her grandchildren. She loved to spoil and attend any event her grandchildren were involved in. 

In addition to her husband of 45 years, Shirley is survived by her three children, Justin (Michelle) Mosley of Linn, Nicole (Nick) Nilges of Linn and Ryan (Meghan) Mosley of Kansas City; six grandchildren, Cody, Jentry and Grayson Mosley, Harlow and Daxton Nilges and Rylie Mosley; two brothers, Wayne (Betty) Wilson of Bonnots Mill and Jim Wilson of Belle; one sister, Diane (Rick) Bonnot of Loose Creek; along with many nieces, nephews and friends. 

In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Nancy Wilson. 

Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Friday, January 17, 2025, at St. George Catholic Church in Linn with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 12:00 p.m. with Fr. Colin Franklin as the Celebrant. Inurnment will be in the St. George Parish Cemetery.
