Shirley M. Jaegers

Shirley M. Jaegers, age 72 of Jefferson City formerly of Linn, Mo. passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.

She was born on October 30, 1936 in Osage County a daughter to the late Ernie and Mabel (McDaniel) Wolfe.

Shirley attended school in Linn and owned and operated the Green Gables Restaurant in Linn. She also worked in various restaurants throughout her life.

She enjoyed gardening, reading mysteries, bird watching and was an avid St. Louis Cardinal baseball fan.

Shirley attended the First United Methodist Church in Jefferson City.

She is survived by: two sons, Jack E. Jaegers of Linn and Terry J. and wife Mathilda Jaegers of Russellville; four sisters, Norma and her husband Don Jennings, Evelyn and her husband George Gilpin, Sharon and husband David Chmeidling all of Jefferson City and Alice and her husband Terry Fowler of the state of California; two brothers, Bill Wolfe of Jefferson City and Danny and his wife Jo Ann Wolfe of Taos; six grandchildren, three step grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and eight step great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 16, 2009 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Morton Chapel in Linn.

Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2009 at Morton Chapel with Rev. Lyle Coleman officiating. Interment will follow in the Linn Public Cemetery.
