Sherah A. Heidbrink, age 74 of Linn, passed away Friday, May 11, 2018, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.
Sherah was born April 10, 1944, in Detroit, MI, a daughter to the late Frank and Olga (Kuhn) Armbruster.
Sherah was a 1962 graduate of Hoisington High School in Kansas.
On June 26, 1965, she was united in marriage to James Heidbrink at Pin Oak Baptist Church in Mt. Sterling. He survives of the home.
Sherah was employed for the Department of Family Services for over 22 years working in Jefferson City and Linn.
She was a member of Pin Oak Baptist Church and resident of the area for almost 50 years.
Sherah enjoyed playing on the computer, reading, going to garage sales and auctions, collecting antiques, fishing and shopping. She loved volunteering at the CAS Food Pantry in Belle, going to gospel music shows and traveling, but her greatest joy came from babysitting her grandchildren watching them play sports, and spending time with her family.
In addition to her spouse of 52 years, Sherah is survived by: two sons, Steve Heidbrink and his wife Ryta of Mt. Sterling and Clinton Heidbrink and his wife Carolyn of Jefferson City; three grandchildren, Brittany, Gannon, and Lacey Heidbrink; and one great grandchild, Preston Figueroa. Sherah was also happily known as “mom” to Jennifer (Arnold) Chambers of Columbia and Jeff Arnold of Owensville and as “sister” to Jana (Garth) Albers of New Haven.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant brother Bruce Armbruster.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 19, 2018, at Pin Oak Baptist Church in Mt. Sterling. Funeral Services will follow with Pastor Glen Duncan officiating.
