Shanna A. Voss

Shanna A. Voss, age 28, of Jefferson City formerly of Linn, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2014, at her residence.

Shanna was born September 4, 1985, in Jefferson City, a daughter to Randy and Becky (Rackers) Voss of Taos.

Shanna was a 2004 graduate of Linn High School and graduated in 2009 with a BA in Psychology from the University of Missouri in Columbia. She was a member of the Kappa Delta Sorority.

Shanna worked for the Randy Kaiser Insurance Agency in Jefferson City as a Marketing Representative.

Shanna was an animal lover and enjoyed scrapbooking and taking "people" photographs. She was a people person and enjoyed spending time with her friends.

In addition to her parents, Shanna is survived by: her life partner of seven years, Mike Ellis of the home; one sister, Rachel Warnack and her husband, Chris of Mesa, AZ; one nephew, Winston Warnack; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at Morton Chapel in Linn.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 8, 2014, at the First Baptist Church in Linn with Rev. David Krueger officiating. Interment will follow at the St. George Cemetery in Linn.

In lieu of flowers and statuary, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Jefferson City Animal Shelter or the American Cancer Society.
