Ross Allyn Steiner, age 37, of Bonnots Mill, passed away Thursday, September 7, 2023.
Ross was born on December 1, 1985, in Jefferson City, a son to the late Kem Steiner and Kelley (Uffmann) Steiner. His mother survives in Montgomery, Texas.
Ross was a 2004 graduate of Jefferson City High School, where he played on the football and baseball teams.
Ross loved music, he enjoyed playing and performing for people in his one man show. His favorite band was the Dave Matthews Band having attended over 50 plus concerts over the years. Ross was known for being the life of the party, with his quick wit, fun-filled personality, and his giant heart.
He was an avid St. Louis Blues Hockey, Kansas City Chiefs and St. Louis Cardinals Fan. He was all about his Ford Trucks. His favorite holiday was Christmas, and he was already counting down the days until Christmas.
On September 17, 2016, he was united in marriage to Rita Frickey in Westphalia. Ross is survived by his wife and his two daughters, Rowynn and Remy Steiner; two sisters, Jenna Sladek and her husband Nick of Pacific, and Kara Sneeringer and her husband Darren of Catawissa; two nephews, Eliott and Lukas Sladek and one on the way, Bo Allyn Sneeringer; one niece, Quincy Sneeringer; maternal grandparents, Robert and Joyce Uffmann of Owensville; along with several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Erlene Steiner.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at Morton Chapel in Linn with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be held in the Old Bland Cemetery in Bland.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to Rita Steiner to benefit his daughter’s future education.
