Robert "Bob" B. Ferris

Robert "Bob" B. Ferris, age 62 of Linn, passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2015, at his residence.

Bob was born on April 27, 1953, in St. Louis, a son to the late Robert T. Ferris and Patricia (Holland) Ferris who resides in Ballwin.

Bob was a graduate of Lafayette High School in St. Louis.

On October 16, 1982, Bob was united in marriage to Vicky Bartley in Kirkwood, Missouri. She survives of the home.

In 1971, Bob joined the United States Air Force and served as a firefighter until he was honorably discharged in 1977. He remained in fire service until his retirement from Metro West Fire Protection District in Ballwin.

Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, motorcycle riding, and spending time with his family.

In addition to his mother and his spouse of 33 years, Bob is survived by: his children, Robin Ferris (Chris Moynihan), Amy Ferris, Jamie Ferris and Christi Brown and her husband Bob; one brother, William "Bill" Ferris and his wife Jenny; five grandchildren, Ashley, Danielle, Braeden, Kennedy and Eric, as well as nieces, nephews and many friends.

A celebration of his life will be held on Monday, November 23, 2015, from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Wolfe Trail Estates (Osage County Trail Riders) on Highway 89 North, Linn.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Osage Caring Projects or the Good Shepherd Food Pantry.
