Robert Boes

Robert William ""Bob"" Boes, age 61 of Linn, Mo., died Monday, April 7, 2008 at St Mary's Health Center in Jefferson City.

He was born March 4, 1947 in Jefferson City, to the late Herbert and Ida Brandt Boes.

Bob was a graduate of Helias High School and was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a retired insurance agent and a member of the St. George Church and VFW Post 1003 in Jefferson City. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting, fishing and woodworking.

He was married to Sheryl Lynn Gibson.

Survivors also include: one son, James R. Boes and fiancée, Joella Seek of Gladstone, Mo., one daughter, Kelly L. Boes and fiancée, Roger Bevz of Kansas City, Mo; two grandchildren, Christopher Matthew Boes and Jordan R. Boes, and an uncle, William Brandt of Linn, Mo. He was preceded in death by one brother, Thomas Boes.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at the Morton Chapel in Linn, Mo.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 10, 2008 at St. George Church in Linn, Mo., with Rev. I.C. Medina as the Celebrant. Burial with Military Honors will follow in the St. George Cemetery in Linn.
