Raymond Ruettgers

Raymond A. Ruettgers, 57, Loose Creek, passed away Saturday, May 6, 2023.

He was born October 31, 1965, to Harry and Anna Marie (Werner) Ruettgers in Jefferson City.

Ray graduated from Fatima High School in 1985.  He was a skilled carpenter, plumber, mechanic, and all-around handy man.  Ray was a shy, quiet man with a big heart, though he didn’t often show it.  Those of us who knew him best loved him dearly and will miss him terribly.

Ray is survived by his father, Harry; siblings and their significant others, Gene (Mel) Ruettgers, Paul (Dottie) Ruettgers, Dave (Ann) Ruettgers, Jerry (Lisa) Ruettgers, Ed (Tammy) Ruettgers, Mary (Dave) Luebbert, Rose (Chuck) Kowieski and Jim (Julie) Ruettgers; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Anna Marie; grandparents Louis and Sybilla Ruettgers, August and Caroline Werner; aunt Mae Boyd; uncles Robert Werner and Peter Radmacher; and cousin Nolan Schroeder.

A private family service will be held.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to Immaculate Conception Parish or the IC Parish Cemetery fund.
