Pearl R. Stock

Pearl R. Stock age 87, of St. Peters, formally of Linn, passed away Friday, June 18, 2010, at NHC Healthcare in St. Charles.

Pearl was born May 27, 1923, in Mt. Sterling, a daughter to the late Lloyd and Anna (Busch) Joyce.

Pearl graduated from Linn High school and worked in various factories in the area.

On August 30, 1941, Pearl was united in marriage to Alfred Perrey. He preceded her in death on April 21, 1962. On March 19, 1966, she was united in marriage to Adam Stock in Morrison. He preceded her in death on April 6, 1995.

Pearl was member of the Oklahoma Church of Christ as well as a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed cooking and quilting.

Pearl is survived by: one son, Robert "Bob" and his wife Alice Perrey of St. Charles; four grandchildren, Christopher and his wife Christine Perrey of Victoria, MN, Philip and his wife Lindsey Perrey of St. Charles, Amy and her husband B.J. Jones of Dubuque, IA, and Julie Perrey of St. Charles; one great grandchild, Alexandra Perrey, as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to Pearl's husbands, she was preceded in death by: one brother, Arthur Joyce; and one sister, Irene Gummersheimer.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 23, 2010, at Oklahoma Church of Christ. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 11:00 a.m. with Thomas McGee and Mrs. Stock's grandson, Philip Perrey officiating.

Interment will follow in the Oklahoma Church Cemetery.
