Paula Kay (Luetkemeyer) Whithaus

Paula Kay (Luetkemeyer) Whithaus, age 60 of Morrison, passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at her residence. 

Paula was born April 25, 1964, in Washington, MO, a daughter to Kenneth Luetkemeyer who survives of St Martin and the late Beverly Hallemann. 

Paula was a 1982 graduate of Jefferson City High School and later received her associate’s degree in business from Metro Business College. 

Paula was of the Catholic faith and enjoyed sewing, gardening, quilting, the Kansas City Chiefs and spending time with her family. 

In addition to her father, Paula is survived by her partner Tom Fain of the home in Morrison, one daughter, Stephanie Cain and her husband Casey of Madison, AL, one son, Andrew Berhorst and his wife Jennifer of Jefferson City, one brother, Mike Luetkemeyer and his wife Mary of Jefferson City, three sisters, JoAnn Bestgen and her husband Bernie of California, MO, Laurie Borchelt and her husband Tim of Holts Summit and Greta Brauner and her husband Greg of Centertown, seven grandchildren, Darby, Charlotte, Brooklynn, Fred, George, Vivienne and Jude as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her mother, Paula was preceded in death by twin grandsons, Ascher and Brady.

In keeping with Paula’s wishes her body was donated to the University of Missouri School of Medicine.

Please join us as we celebrate the life of our beloved Paula at St. Martin Catholic Church, Jefferson City, MO. We invite family, friends, and loved ones to come together on Saturday, January 18, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM to honor, remember, and share in the joy of her memory.

The celebration will begin with a Rosary at 2:00 PM, followed by a heartfelt balloon/lantern launch in the church cemetery to symbolize the light and love that Paula brought to all who knew her.

After the launch, please join us in the church undercroft to enjoy appetizers and the company of others as we reflect on the beautiful moments we have shared with her.

Attire: Feel free to wear your Kansas City Chiefs and NASCAR apparel in honor of Paula’s love for these passions.
