Patricia Ellen Jaegers known to her friends as Patsy Boehm, age 80 of Linn, passed away Friday, October 18, 2024, at Stonebridge Adams Street in Jefferson City.
Patsy was born February 1, 1944, in Jefferson City, a daughter to the late Theodore Boehm and Marie (Kuster) Boehm Brandt.
She was a 1961 graduate of Linn High School. Patsy received her Registered Nurse credentials from DePaul Hospital School of Nursing in 1964 and earned her BSN at University of Missouri in 1969.
On October 16, 1971, she was united in marriage to James “Jim” W. Jaegers, at St. George Catholic Church in Linn. He survives at the home in Linn.
Patricia was a registered nurse and spent many years caring for others in hospitals, including St. Mary’s Hospital in Jefferson City, the VA and University Hospitals in Columbia, and later finished her nursing career at Green Meadows/Autumn Meadows Skilled Care in Linn before her retirement.
She was a member of St. George Catholic Church and enjoyed attending her children’s sporting events and time spent with her family and her husband’s family.
In addition to her spouse of 53 years, Patricia is survived by: three sons, James Jaegers II of Fairfax, Virginia, Patrick (Lisa) Jaegers of Defiance, and Christopher (Erica) Jaegers of Loose Creek; six grandchildren, Brandon (Lexie) Jaegers, Dylan Jaegers, Nolan Jaegers, Luke Jaegers, Vivian Jaegers, and William Jaegers; one great grandson, Paxton Jaegers; two brothers, Ted (Paula) Boehm of Mesa, Arizona and John Boehm of Jefferson City; one sister, Ann Dill of St. Charles, as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Arthur Brandt, an infant brother, William Joseph “Peter” Boehm, and a brother-in-law, Elmer Dill.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 25, 2024, at Morton Chapel in Linn.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at St. George Catholic Church in Linn with Fr. Colin Franklin as the Celebrant. Interment will be in the St. George Parish Cemetery.
