Norman Russell

Vinton Allen Russell, age 54 of Linn, Mo passed away Sunday May 4, 2008 at Jefferson City Manor in Jefferson City.

Allen was born July 13, 1953 in Jefferson City to the late Carl Russell and Mildred Porting Malan. His mother and step-father, Carl Malan, survive of Linn.

Allen attended school in Westphalia. He enjoyed fishing and deer hunting. He was a carpenter for several years and also worked as a line splicer for a telephone company.

In addition to his mother and step-father Allen is survived by one son Craig and his wife Megan Russell of Linn, one daughter Renzi Russell of Jefferson City, three brothers; Larry Russell of Taos, Warren Russell of Linn and Rusty Russell of Jefferson City, two sisters; Janet Whitt of Valdosta, Ga and Debra Dudenhoeffer of Taos, one grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 8, 2008 at the Morton Chapel in Linn.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the Morton Chapel with President Bill Turner of the Linn LDS Church officiating. Interment will follow in the Linn Public Cemetery
