Norbert G. Dill, Jr., age 64, of Rich Fountain, passed away Thursday, August 15, 2024, at University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics in Columbia.
Norbert was born November 18, 1959, in Jefferson City, a son to the late Norbert Dill, Sr. and Florentine (Eisterhold) Dill.
He was a 1977 graduate of Fatima High School, a 1981 graduate of Linn Tech.
On May 22, 1982, he was united in marriage to Christy Boehm at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Taos. Christy survives at their home.
Norbert was employed at ABB for 37 years, retiring in 2015.
He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rich Fountain and the Rich Fountain Knights of Columbus.
Norbert loved being a farmer. He had a passion for learning, planting things to see if they can grow, always coming up with plans and ideas to make things better and talking on the phone with his buddies. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife of 42 years, Norbert is survived by: two daughters, Tracy Dill of Rich Fountain and Katrina (Eric) Falter of Westphalia; two grandchildren, Jameson and Allison Falter; two brothers, David (Lona) Dill of Linn, and Gregory Dill of Rich Fountain; one sister, Christine C. (Kenneth) Fick of Rich Fountain; mother-in-law, Morina Boehm of Taos, brothers-in-law, Clarence “Butch” (Roseann) Boehm, Jr. and Clinton “Joe” (Beth) Boehm of Rolla; sister-in-law, Cheryl (Gary) Boes of Rich Fountain; along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 18, 2024, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rich Fountain.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 19, 2024, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Fr. William Debo as the Celebrant. Interment will be in the Sacred Heart Parish Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
