Nelda Mae Rustemeyer-Schmidt

Nelda Mae (Rustemeyer) Schmidt, age 90, of Loose Creek, Mo. Died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2008 at St. Mary's Health Center.
She was born July 4, 1917 at Loose Creek, Mo. The daughter of Peter J. & Bertha (Hubert) Jaegers, both deceased.
She was married April 6, 1936 to Peter Rustemeyer who preceded her in death Aug. 11, 1974. She was married in 1978 to Frank Schmidt who preceded her in death Sept. 9, 2000.
A lifelong resident of the Loose Creek Community, Nelda was a homemaker and had also been employed with McGraw-Edison prior to her retirement.
She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church, Loose Creek, Mo., and the Ladies sewing circle of the church, and a member of St. Ann's Sodality.
Nelda enjoyed quilting, was a fabulous cook, enjoyed gardening, and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren & great-grandchildren.
Survivors include: 2 daughters: Renilda Kliethermes of Loose Creek, Mo.; Shirley Ann Cotter & husband Gary of Belton, Mo.; 1 son-in-law: Carl Rhoads of Linn, Mo.; 1 sister: Delma Perrot of Bonnots Mill, Mo.; 2 brothers: Ray Jaegers & Edward Jaegers, both of Linn, Mo.; Eleven Grandchildren & 24 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 1 daughter: Bertha Rhoads; 1 son-in-law: Leonard Kliethermes; 3 sisters & 3 brothers.
Visitation will be from 4 – 8 p.m. Friday Feb. 29, 2008 at the Morton Chapel, Linn, Mo. With a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Friday evening.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 1, 2008 at the Immaculate Conception Church, Loose Creek, Mo. With The Rev. I.C. Medina as the celebrant. Interment will follow in the Immaculate Conception Parish Cemetery.
