Mildred M. Perrey Ogle, age 88, of Westphalia, passed away Friday, April 17, 2020, at Westphalia Hills.
Mildred was born January 24, 1932, in Frankenstein, a daughter to the late Frank and Johanna (Kremer) Thoenen.
She was a 1949 graduate of Frankenstein High School and obtained her bachelor’s degree from Lincoln University.
On June 12, 1951, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Perrey, Sr. at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church in Frankenstein. He preceded her in death on August 16, 1981.
Mildred worked as an accountant for the State of Missouri.
Mildred’s hobbies included gardening, card playing and dancing. She also enjoyed listening to live music. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Mildred is survived by: four sons, Kenneth Perrey, Jr. and his wife Mary of Linn, Glenn Perrey and his wife, Milah Loehr of House Springs, Roger Perrey and his wife Christine of Joplin and Douglas Perrey and his wife Tonie of Westphalia; one daughter, Sharon Schaefer and her husband Mike Madill of Cincinnati, OH; two brothers, Phillip Thoenen and his wife Betty of Loose Creek and Fred Thoenen and his wife Theresa of Frankenstein; one sister, Clara Laughlin of St. Louis; 14 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Mary Lou Thoenen of Linn; along with many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and spouse, Mildred was preceded in death by a brother, Wilfred Thoenen.
Private family services will be held. Interment will be in the St. George Parish Cemetery. A Celebration of Mildred’s life will be held a later date.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the donor’s choice.
