Michele Louise Janssen, age 59, of Sweetwater, TN, passed from this world to the next on Sunday, January 18, 2015 in her residence.
Michele was born October 19, 1955, in Los Angeles, CA, a daughter to the late Richard Ousley and Lenora (Regret) Ousley-Scott who survives of Jefferson City.
Michele was united in marriage to Eric Janssen in 1984. He survives in the state of Utah.
Michele was a 1972 graduate of Canoga Park High School in California. She had worked as a front desk clerk, a mortgage loan officer, as well as a homemaker.
Michele was an avid reader of Stephen King novels, a lover of roses and she had a patriotic spirit. She also enjoyed helping with Girl Scouts, archery, bowling, making decorations and playing the guitar. She had high hope and dreams for her daughters all of this despite suffering from various medical ailments during her life.
In addition to her husband and mother, Michele is survived by: three daughters, Kristin Louise Minchey of Ogden, UT, LeAnna Renee Griffin and her husband Zack of Magna, UT, and Lisa Marie Janssen of South Jordan, UT; one brother, Kevin Ousley and his wife Debbie of Bakersfield, CA; two sisters, Denise Ousley of Jefferson City and Annette Stearnes of Jefferson City; seven grandchildren, Kaden, Aubrie and Korbin Minchey, Mackenzie, Adrianna, Lexi, Danielle Quarry and Simon Griffin.
In addition to her father, Michele was preceded in death by her step-father, Frank Scott.
A celebration of Michele's life will be held at 11:00am Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Morton Chapel in Linn with Rev. Andy Schmidt officiating. Burial will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the Boss Cemetery in Boss, MO.
