Mary Kay Davis

Mary Kay Davis, 52 of Jefferson City passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2008 at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.

She was born Sept. 10, 1955 in Jefferson City to Francis Hoerschgen and Edna (Connell) Hoerschgen-Turner. Her father preceded her in death. Her mother survives of Jefferson City.

Mary attended grade school at St. Peters Catholic School and later attended Jefferson City High School. She was a homemaker and had also worked at Memorial Hospital and the Big Top Child Development Center.

She enjoyed music, taking walks, swimming, sunbathing, fishing and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She attended the First assembly of God Church as well as Immaculate Conception Church in Jefferson City.

Additional survivors include three daughters; Chrisma Davis, Angela Davis and Melissa Davis all of Jefferson City. Six brothers; Donald and wife Janet Hoerschgen, Dwayne Hoerschgen, Gerald and wife Connie Hoerschgen, Daniel and wife Beth Hoerschgen all of Jefferson City, Randy and his wife Tracy Hoerschgen of California and Glen and wife Gloria Hoerschgen of Jefferson City, eleven grandchildren, Alissa, Megan, James, Heaven, Ariah, Jasmine, Avarie, Alex, Taylor, Jeremey and Kolby as well as several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Visitation will be 4pm-8pm Sunday, July 27, 2008 at Morton Chapel in Linn, Mo.

Funeral Services will be 1pm Monday, July 28, 2008 at Morton Chapel with Rev. Van Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in the Loose Creek Cemetery.
