Lola D. Heet, 69 of Linn, Mo passed away Saturday, August 16, 2008 at the Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.
She was born October 12, 1938 in Linn to the late Floyd and Mattie (Ware) Owens.
Lola attended school in Linn. On November 7, 1953 she was married to Donald R. Heet in Jefferson City. He preceded her in death on March 4, 2006.
Lola was retired from the Missouri Department of Revenue where she worked as a supervisor in the Motor Vehicle Division.
She enjoyed sewing, quilting, cooking and spending time being granny to her family. She was a member of St George Church.
Survivors include four daughters; Donna and her husband Laren Haslag of Loose Creek, Jo Ann and her husband Denis Potter of Jefferson City, Vickie "Susie" Haslag of Boonville and Rhonda and husband her husband Alan Borgmeyer of Bonnots Mill. One brother, Bill Dee Owens of Linn and one sister, Mary Ruth Grizzle of Phenix City, AL. Nine grandchildren, Lana, Mandy, Jason, Clayton, Leif, Lyle, Jesse,
Laci and Scotty. Three great grandchildren, Lanie, Hunter and Parker and a great granddaughter that is due in August.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, two sisters and 1 grandson, Eric Borgmeyer.
Visitation will be 4:00pm-8:00pm on Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at the Morton Chapel in Linn.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am Thursday, August 21, 2008 at St George Church
with Fr. I.C. Medina as the Celebrant. Interment will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Loose Creek.
