Leona D. Schneider

Leona D. Schneider, aged 87 of South Sioux City, NE formally of Loose Creek, Mo passed away Sunday, November 9, 2008 in South Sioux City.

She was born on January 26, 1921 in Portsmouth, IA to the late Paul and Clara (Banhagel) Neubauer.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Loose Creek.

On May 9, 1950 she was united in marriage to Adolph F. Schneider in Portsmouth, IA. He preceded her in death on July 27, 1985.

Leona is survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband she was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.

Visitation will be 4pm-7pm Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at the Morton Chapel in Linn with a prayer service beginning at 7pm.

Graveside services will be 11am Thursday, November 12, 2008 at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Loose Creek.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Immaculate Conception Church.
