Larry C. Scott, Sr

Larry C. Scott, Sr. age 69, of Salisbury, and formerly of Jefferson City, passed away Thursday, November 7, 2013 at the Chariton Park Health Care in Salisbury.

Larry was born June 24, 1944, in Mexico, a son to the late Chauncey and Helen Gertrude (Clark) Scott.

Larry was a graduate of Mexico High School and had worked as a meat cutter before becoming disabled. Larry attended the AME church.

Larry is survived by: two sons, Larry Scott, Jr. of Sedalia and Wendell Scott of Aurora, CO; one daughter Pam Green of Troy; six grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by: two brothers, Chauncey Scott, Jr. and Glenn Scott and a sister, Lillian Maxine Kemp-Cho.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2013, from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:30 a.m. at the First Assembly of God Church, 301 James St. in Sweet Springs.

Interment will be held at a later date in the Linn Public Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made to the First Assembly of God Church in Sweet Springs.
