Kenneth P. Bailey, age 78, of Loose Creek, passed away on Monday, September 5, 2022, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.
Ken was born on January 30, 1944, in Cole County, a son to the late Ralph and Elizabeth (Lock) Bailey of Bonnots Mill.
He was a 1962 graduate of Fatima High School.
Ken was married to Diana M. Hoerschgen and they shared more than 57 years of marriage.
Ken as he liked to be called, retired as the Manager of the Taos facility of Legends Bank after 40 years. He began his career at the Bank of Bonnots Mill, transitioning to Heritage Bank and then to Legends. He enjoyed going to work each day.
In addition to his wife, Diana, Ken is survived by two sons, Craig of Columbia and Kirk (Sheila) of Jefferson City; two grandsons, Trevor (friend Paige) and Tyler of Jefferson City; a great-granddaughter, Brooklyn; two brothers, Norman (Mary Lou) and Mark (Sheila); two sisters, Kathryn (Larry) Peters and Diana Eynard, both of Loose Creek.
In addition to his parents, Ken was preceded in death by a sister, Ann Bailey and a niece Cate Britton.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Loose Creek with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Anthony Rinaldo and Rev. George Kramer as the Celebrants. Private family interment will be held at Immaculate Conception Parish Cemetery in Loose Creek.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Loose Creek.
