Judith Ann Beers, 75, of Linn, passed away peacefully at her residence on Monday, October 28, 2024.
Judi was born on August 14, 1949, in Sullivan, a daughter to the late Benjamin James and Verda Mae (Irvine) Kramer.
Judi was a 1967 graduate of Sullivan High School.
On April 12, 1969, she was united in marriage to Troy Beers in Sullivan. Troy preceded her in death on November 18, 2008.
Judi owned and operated her own beauty salon in Linn before transitioning to caring for children in her home. She continued to provide loving care for many children until she retired in 2008.
Judi had a deep love for flowers, gardening, traveling, writing, and scrapbooking. She was especially talented at making beautiful flower arrangements and cooking. Known for her generosity, Judi was always willing to help anyone in need. She had a giving spirit and found joy in caring for others, showering them with love and kindness. Her greatest happiness, however, came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, who were her pride and joy.
Judi is survived by her two sons, Trent Beers and his wife Andrea of New Bloomfield, and Todd Beers of Linn; four grandchildren, Parker, Tyler, Madeline and Kaylee Beers; one brother, Benny Kramer of Linn; along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband of 39 years, Judi was preceded in death by her two sons, Troy Dwayne Beers and Travis Beers; a grandson, Ryan Beers; two sisters, Joyce Sparks and Joan Pilkenton; three brothers-in-law, Glenn Sparks, Robert Pilkenton and James Beers; two sisters-in-law, Sandy Kramer and Lenora Scott.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 1, 2024, at Morton Chapel in Linn with Funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Glenn Sparks officiating. Interment will follow in Boss Cemetery in Boss, Missouri.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Parents of Murdered Children.
