Jonathon R. Duncan

Jonathon "Jon" R. Duncan, age 22 of Chamois, Mo passed away Sunday, September 28, 2008 at his residence in Chamois.

Jon was born on June 4, 1986 in Jefferson City to David and Linda (Shockley) Duncan. His father preceded him in death and his mother survives of the home.

He was a 2004 graduate of Chamois High School and was employed with Rost Landscaping. Jon was an avid hunter. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Chamois.

Jon is survived by his two sisters: Katina Sieg and her husband Brad of Westphalia and Marcie Duncan and fiancAC.e Steve Cramer of Chamois; three nephews, Anthony and Austin Sieg and Nathan Wight; his girlfriend Heather Jackson of Jefferson City her son Jayden and their unborn child that Jon was anxiously awaiting; maternal grandmother, Gloria Shockley of Chamois and paternal grandmother, Juanita Sue Duncan of Chamois; Leonard and Pauline Gerloff of Chamois who were like parents to Jon; several aunts and uncles, many cousins and numerous friends.

He was preceded in death by a maternal grandfather Cletus Shockley, paternal grandfather Russell Duncan, an uncle Kent Duncan and an aunt Janet Shockley.

Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday September 30, 2008 at the Morton Chapel in Chamois.

Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at St. Johns Church of Christ Church in Chamois with Rev. Deborah Pope officiating. Interment will follow in the Chamois City Cemetery.
