Hazel P. Bogle, age 89 of Owensville, passed away Monday, March 28, 2011, at her residence in Owensville.
Hazel was born on April 8, 1921, in Linn, a daughter to the late Buel and Flossie (Butler) Mosley.
Hazel attended school in Linn.
On September 19, 1942, she was united in marriage to Marvin Bogle in Freedom. He preceded her in death on November 9, 1993.
Hazel had been employed as Florsheim Shoe Factory and Linn Manufacturing.
She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed fishing, dancing, buying lottery tickets, reading her bible daily and spending time with her family.
Hazel is survived by: four sons, Charles Bogle and his wife Kathy of Columbia Falls, MT., Rick Bogle and his wife Kristen of Bland, Eric Bogle and his wife Theresa of Owensville, Randy Bogle and his wife Tammy of Drake; three daughters, Judy Gordon and her husband Darrell of Jefferson City, Beverly Loeb and her husband Russell of Owensville, and Terry Bogle of Owensville; two sisters, Scharlet Ward of St. Paul, MN, and Nellie Burke and her husband Paul of Cahokia, IL; one daughter-in-law, Stephanie Bogle of Chamois; one son-in-law, Larry Vossen of O'Fallon, MO; 25 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to her spouse and parents, Hazel was preceded in death by: two sons, John and David Bogle; two daughters, Diane Bogle and Betty Vossen, and one great grandchild, Kelly Sherree Thompson.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 30, 2011, at Morton Chapel in Linn.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 31, 2011, at Morton Chapel with Rev. Chris Ross officiating. Interment will follow at Lane Cemetery.
