Gregory “Pecker” A. Kirsch, age 63 of Bonnots Mill, passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2016, at HST Memorial Veterans Hospital in Columbia.
Greg was born October 6, 1953, in Jefferson City, a son to the late James “Bob” R. and Virginia “Ginny” (Gentges) Kirsch.
Greg was a 1971 graduate of Fatima High School and also a graduate of State Technical College of Missouri in Linn with an auto mechanic certificate.
Greg was a United States Air Force Veteran attaining the rank of Sergeant.
Greg worked for John Kever Construction as a carpenter for many years.
Greg was a member of St. Louis of France Catholic Church in Bonnots Mill. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on old cars
and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.
Greg is survived by: two daughters, Amanda Kirsch and Jessica “Jessie” Kirsch both of Bonnots Mill; three brothers, Michael Kirsch and special friend Jana Chambers of Jefferson City, Randall Kirsch and his wife Alice of Bonnots Mill, and Andrew Kirsch and his wife Barbara of Bonnots Mill; two sisters, Annette Bruemmer and her husband David of Jefferson City, and Jane Massman and her husband Sam of Westphalia; three grandchildren, Kobe Holtmeyer, Cassidy Epps, and Boone Holtmeyer; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to his parents, Greg was preceded in death by: one brother, Anthony “Tony” Kirsch and a sister, Lori Ann Kirsch.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 15, 2016, at Morton Chapel in Linn.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 16, 2016, at St. Louis of France Catholic Church in
Bonnots Mill with Military Honors following. Burial will be held at a later date.
