Gregory Lawrence Hagner

Gregory Lawrence Hagner age 73 of Owensville and formerly of Jefferson City, passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at Mercy Hospital St Louis.

Gregory was born October 2, 1949, in Jefferson City, a son to the late Harvey H. and Gladys M. (Wekenborg) Hagner.

Gregory attended school in Jefferson City and was a 1967 graduate of Jefferson City High School.

He was employed with his dad’s construction company for most of his working career. He later worked for Hobby Lobby.

Gregory is survived by two children, Gregory Hagner and his wife Heather of Jefferson City and Shawn Hagner and his wife Kelli of Kansas City, four grandchildren, Grant, Blake, Grace and Jack, two sisters, Shirley Jean Wibberg and her husband Lawrence and Mary Jane Quinn all of Jefferson City as well as nieces, nephews and many friends that he met when he resided at Gasconade Manor in Owensville.

In addition to his parents, Gregory was preceded in death by two brothers Donald Gary Hagner and Bernard Leon Hagner and one sister Joan Kay Herx.

Private family burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery in Jefferson City.
