Gary H. Maasen

Gary H. Maasen, age 76, of Linn, passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at Jefferson City Manor in Jefferson City. 

Gary was born a son to the late Fred and Wilma (Jaegers) Maasen.

Gary was a 1962 graduate of Linn High School.

On August of 1963, Gary was united in marriage to Barbara Wolfe in Linn.  Barbara survives at their home. 

Gary was employed at Southwestern Bell Telephone Company where he retired from in 1999 after working for 37 years.

Gary was a member of St. George Catholic Church in Linn.

In addition to his wife of 57 years, Gary is survived by: one son, Scott Maasen and his wife Tonette of Springfield; one daughter: Marla Eisterhold and her husband Mike of Rich Fountain; eight grandchildren: Samantha Eisterhold, Adam Eisterhold, Jordan Wieberg, Matthew Eisterhold, Hannah Eisterhold, Cody Phillips,  Samantha Hazelwood  and Levi Maasen; five great grandchildren: Lillian, Nicholas and Brooklyn Wieberg, August Eisterhold, and Averie Hazelwood; three sisters, Mary Lou Lueker of Washington, Betty Jane Bill of Fulton and Kathy Loethen of Linn; along with many nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Oidtman.

Private Family Service will be held at a later date.
