Forrest Wayne Slusser

Forrest Wayne Slusser, age 62 of Chamois, Mo passed away Saturday, June 21, 2008 at his residence in Chamois after a short illness.

He was born on April 8, 1946 in Cheney, Kansas to the late Lewis Guy Slusser and Myraline (Parsons) Slusser who survives.

Wayne was a self-employed dump truck operator and aVeteran of the United States Air Force. On February 20, 1967 he married Sharon ""Sue"" Smith in Lohman, Mo.she survives of the home. He enjoyed horses and mechanic work.

Additional survivors include two sons, Alan ""Butch"" Slusser and his wife Vicki of St Charles, Mo, Brad Slusser of Chamois. Two daughters, Theresa Nolte and her husband Joe of Linn and Melissa Slusser of Chamois. Four brothers Richard Slusser of Chillicothe, Mo., Donnie Slusser of Chamois, Mike Slusser of Bland and Denny Slusser of Chamois. Four sisters, Jane Jones of Chamois, Jean Mason of Sullivan, Myra Wipfler of Morrison, and Vonna Arnsmeyer of Hermann. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 5:00pm-8:00pm Monday, June 23, 2008 at the Morton Chapel in Chamois.

Funeral Service will be 10:00am Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at the Morton Chapel in Chamois with the Rev. Chuck Crider officiating. Burial will follow in the Deer Creek Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or to the Deer Creek Cemetery Fund.
