Everen B. Peters

Everen B. Peters, age 85, of Linn, Mo. passed away June 7, 2009, at St. Mary's Health Center in Jefferson City.

She was born on July 15, 1923 in Osage County a daughter to the late William and Verlena (Walker) Suess. Everen attended school at St. Aubert.

On May 18, 1946 she was united in marriage to Clifford J. Peters in Frankenstein. He preceded her in death on April 2, 2009.

Everen was a homemaker and also worked at Scholastic, Mosby's and part-time at Linn Drug Store. She enjoyed fishing, camping and gardening.

She was a member of St. George Catholic Church, St Ann's Sodality and the Linn Garden Club.

Everen is survived by: two sons, Raymond and his wife Linda Peters of Westphalia and Patrick and his wife Charlene Peters of Linn; two daughters, Bonnie Tschappler and her husband Larry of Linn and Debbie Horton and her husband Paul of Bonnots Mill; two sisters, Emma Mantle of Linn and Aletha Lamb and her husband Dale of Kansas City; nine grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, June 8, 2009, at Morton Chapel in Linn.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 9, 2009, at St. George Church with Fr. Philip Kane as the Celebrant. Interment will follow at St. George Cemetery.
