Dolores Marie Wright

Dolores M. Wright, age 76 of Linn, Mo. passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2009 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born on January 7, 1933 a daughter to the late Ambrose and Elsie ( Moore) Landing of Sullivan, Mo.

In September 1953, Dolores was united in marriage to Arnold Wright of Jonesburg, Mo. Together they raised four children.

Dolores was employed by Southwestern Bell for many years and most recently worked at Mid America Bank in Linn.

She was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Linn where she taught Sunday School, sang in the choir and served on numerous committees.

Dolores would tell you her family was her greatest accomplishment. Each grandchild had their own special relationship with her. She never thought of herself as anything special but she was the best wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Her wisdom and sense of humor made her a pleasure to be around. She was admired and respected by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband, Arnold and their four children, Randy and his wife Melinda Wright, Linda and her husband Keith Malone, Bob and his wife Roberta Wright and Susie and her husband Larry Henneke, one sister, Wanda Lee and her husband Texal Barnes, 10 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews.

There will be two visitations both at the First Baptist Church in Linn. The first will be held Tuesday, March 17, 2009 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The second will be held Wednesday, March 18, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. until service time.

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 with Rev. David Krueger officiating.

Interment will be held at 3:00 p.m. at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Jonesburg, Mo.
