Dennis James Helmig

Dennis James Helmig, age 65 of St. Charles, formerly of Morrison, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2019, at SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital in St. Charles. 

Dennis was born December 17, 1953, at St. Joseph Hospital in St. Charles, a son to the late Alva and Mary Lou (Davis) Helmig. 

Dennis is survived by: two sisters, Virginia Shields and her husband John of Lonedell, Missouri and Margaret Barber of Wright City, Missouri; along with many nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Alan Helmig.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 23, 2019, at Morton Chapel in Linn. 

Funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Mark Gregor officiating.  Interment will be in the Oklahoma Church of Christ Cemetery.
