Clark D. Dangler, age 79, of Lexington Nebraska passed away on Friday, April 21, 2023, at Aspire of Oak Grove, Missouri.
Clark was born on May 6, 1943, in Grand Island, Nebraska, a son to the late Percy and Mildred (Nickel) Dangler.
Clark was employed with the City of Lexington for 19 years and Walmart of Lexington for over a decade. After retiring, Clark started being a Camp Host at different parks in Nebraska, California, Louisiana, and South Dakota. He was extremely hard working and always wanted to do the best he could. Anyone who knew him always knew they could count on him to get anything taken care of.
Clark was a religious person who was an avid angler. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He adored his grandchildren and his true partner in life, his beloved dog Rowdy.
Clark is survived by his two sons, Chad Dangler and his wife Kate of Oak Grove, Missouri and Troy Dangler and his family; four grandchildren, Marissa McCurdy, Hunter, William, and Kelsey Dangler plus a great grandchild, Ryker; one sister, Marcia Lantzer and her husband Gary of Grand Island, NE.; one sister-in-law, Jean Dangler of Elk City, OK; along with many extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Dennis Dangler, and his dog Rowdy.
The family will host a Celebration of Life Service on June 10th, 2023, at Reynolds Love Funeral Home in Lexington Nebraska at 1:00 PM.
Expressions of sympathy and donations may be made to the family at P.O. Box 445, Oak Grove, MO 64075, for a memorial to be installed at Johnson Lake Nebraska State Park.
