Cheryl M. Baclesse

Cheryl Marie Baclesse, age 57, of Linn passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2010, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.

Cheryl was born September 10, 1953, in Jefferson City, a daughter to Grace (Engelbrecht) Baclesse Crowe and the late Dale "Buster" Baclesse.

Cheryl graduated from Linn High School in 1972. She received her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Missouri in Columbia and her Master's Degree from Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield, MO. She also had attended college at Lincoln University in Jefferson City.

After receiving her teaching degree, Cheryl taught Art classes in several Mid Missouri schools including Linn and Montgomery City. She was presently teaching Elementary Art at the Fatima School District in Westphalia.

Cheryl was a member of the United Methodist Church in Linn.

Aside from teaching art, Cheryl enjoyed spending time with her 11 year old son, Skylar, and her family.

Cheryl is survived by: one son, Skylar Dale Baclesse of the home; her mother, Grace and step father, Robert "Bob" Crowe of Linn; two brothers, Carl Baclesse and his wife Janelle of Linn, and Denny Baclesse of Taos.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm-8:00 pm, Friday, September 17, 2010, at Morton Chapel in Linn.

Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am, Saturday, September 18, 2010, at Morton Chapel. Interment will follow in the Mint Hill Cemetery.
