Charles Kemp, Jr

Charles "Woody" Kemp, Jr., age 52 of Linn, Mo. passed away Friday, April 3, 2009 at St. Mary's Health Center in Jefferson City.

He was born November 18, 1956 in St. Louis to Charles W. and Fern (Withers) Heyman.

Woody was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He enjoyed most all sports especially fishing and darts. He was also a big St. Louis Cardinal fan.

Survivors include: his mother Fern Heyman of Linn, his father Charles W. Kemp Sr. of Innsbrook, Mo; two sons, Derek J. Kemp and Marc A. Kemp both of Linn; three brothers, Kenny and Jeff Kemp of Linn and John Kemp of Oklahoma City, OK; one sister, Chris Redman of Lake of the Ozarks, Mo.; one granddaughter, Jaycie Lucero of Linn and several nieces.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 6, 2009 from 4:00 p.m. until time of service at 7:30 p.m. at Morton Chapel in Linn.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family.
