Carol Ann Franken

Carol Ann Franken, age 50 of Linn, passed away Friday, August 30, 2013, at University Hospital and Clinics in Columbia.

Carol was born June 3, 1963, in Jefferson City, a daughter to the late Bernard "Ben" Franken and Dorothy (Bax) Franken who survives of Linn.

Carol attended State School #65 in Linn and completed her education at H. Kenneth Kirchner State School in Jefferson City.

Carol worked for Capital Projects in Jefferson City for twenty years. She was a lifelong area resident and a member of St. George Catholic Church

Carol enjoyed bowling and her annual trip to Branson to watch the shows and visit Silver Dollar City. She also enjoyed the activities provided by Osage County Special Services in Linn.

In addition to her mother, Carol is survived by: one brother, Gary Franken and his wife Debbie of Linn; one sister, Linda Robinson and her husband Les of Linn; one niece and one nephew.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 3, 2013, at Morton Chapel in Linn with a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the St. George Parish Cemetery.
