Carl Edward Baclesse, age 69 of Linn, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2024, at his residence.
Carl was born February 6, 1955, in Jefferson City, a son to the late Dale “Buster” and Grace (Englebrecht) Baclesse.
He was a 1974 graduate of Linn High School and attended Technical College of Missouri in Linn.
On October 29, 1988, he was united in marriage to Janelle Wiegers in Freeburg. She survives of the home.
Carl was the owner/operator of B & C Processing for over 25 years and also worked in construction.
He was a member of the Freedom Road Riders and enjoyed woodworking, fishing, hunting and biking.
In addition to his wife of 35 years, Carl is survived by: one brother, Denny Baclesse of Taos; two brothers-in-law, Jim Wiegers of Freeburg and John Wiegers of Freeburg; step-father, Robert “ Bob” Crowe of Linn; his constant companion, Ruckus; as well as nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and many friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Cheryl Baclesse and his father and mother-in-law, Mary and Fred Wiegers.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, June 17, 2024, at Morton Chapel in Linn.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at Morton Chapel in Linn with Chaplin Scott Barton officiating. Interment will follow at the Linn Public Cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to American Cancer Society or B.A.C.A. (Bikers Against Child Abuse).
