Bryan C. McNutt, age 58, of Jefferson City, passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at Capitol Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.

Bryan was born on October 21, 1966, in Springfield, a son to the late Ival Dane McNutt and Edith Ann (Gillstrap) Angus.

He was a 1984 graduate of Neosho High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Army.

On September 5, 2006, he was united in marriage in El Dorado Springs to Cecila Ann Jenkins. She survives at their home. 

Bryan was a machinist and later a certified nurse’s assistant until his health declined. 

Bryan enjoyed hunting, fishing, taking care of people and not being afraid to tell you like it was. His greatest enjoyment 

was spending time with his family, friends and especially his dog Lilly. 

In addition to his wife of 18 years, Bryan is survived by his two children, Brandon McNutt and his wife Krystal of Greenfield and Brittney Masters of Mount Vernon; four step children, Christopher Michel of the State of Iowa, Alyssa Vaughn and her husband Brian of Linn, Ashley Jones of Cannan and Michael Jenkins of Charleston; one sister, Jennifer of Springfield; six grandchildren with one on the way; two great grandchildren; along with many friends. 

In addition to his parents, Bryan was preceded in death by his stepfather, Earl Angus and one brother, Robin Dane McNutt.

In keeping with his wishes, Bryan was cremated.
